Cultures, arts, traditions, myths and legends… Here comes the third edition of Genio di Palermo: a true journey inside Palermo’s geniusness where anything is possible!
Il Genio di Palermo symbolizes art, talent, creativity and ingenuity. Over the centuries it has been embodied in all aspects of human life: from the most time-honored architecture to art, from botanical research to tradition… with this new festival we want to celebrate it over and over again.
If it’s possible, let’s say he is the saint patron of the city of Palermo, less well known than “Santuzza” Rosalia but certainly much loved and celebrated in the city.
For this third edition of the festival, it helds in the capital of Sicily for three weeks consecutively from 19th of April until 5th of May 2024 featuring:
- more than 15 places involved;
- it organized 25 exceptional experiences to discover il Genio;
- and it proposed more than 10 unique walks around the city.
Only art and culture? Of course not… there will be more exciting things:
- a cultural treasure hunt to learn about hidden areas and routes in the city;
- a preview of the 400th anniversary of the Festino;
- many workshops and discussions with the theme of “Ho scelto il Sud” with the program dedicated to all the innovators who have returned to work and invest time and energy in our land.
